We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. AI Data and Training
StickFitter uses AI (Anthropic's Claude, accessed through AWS Bedrock) to power fitting recommendations and chat conversations. Here is how your data is handled in connection with our AI features:
Your data is not used to train AI models. We do not use your conversations, profile data, or fitting information to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning models - ours or any third party's. Your data is used solely to generate responses during your chat sessions.
Subprocessor restrictions. Our AI provider (Anthropic, via AWS Bedrock) processes your conversations only to generate real-time responses. Under our agreement with AWS, customer data submitted to Bedrock is not used by Anthropic or AWS to train or improve foundation models.
Data retention. Chat conversations are stored in our database to provide you with session history and to generate fitting recommendations. They are not transmitted to any AI provider after the initial response is generated.
What we send to the AI. When you send a message, we transmit your conversation history, golfer profile data, and current bag information to generate a contextual response. This data is processed in real time and is not retained by the AI provider beyond the scope of that request.
5. Billing and Payment Data
If you purchase access to StickFitter, we collect and store: your Stripe customer ID, payment status, and payment date. We do not store full payment card details - those are held securely by Stripe. This data is used solely to manage your access to the service.
